Inger parish

The former Honnschaft Inger belonged from the 14th century until the early 19th century to the Office Blankenberg in the Duchy of Berg . From 1806 to 1814 Inger was part of the Mairie Lohmar in the Arrondissement of Siegburg , later in the Arrondissement of Mülheim am Rhein , which was assigned to the Rhine department. According to the agreements made at the Congress of Vienna , the Rhineland became part of the Kingdom of Prussia . The community Inger was assigned to the mayor's office Lohmar (from 1927 Amt Lohmar ) in the district of Siegburg (from 1825 Siegkreis ) in the administrative district of Cologne .

According to statistics from 1888, the localities (spelling at that time) belonged to the municipality Inger: Albach , Algert , Bich , Birk , Breidenbach, Freiheit, Hagen , Heide , Hove , Inger, Kröhlenbroich , Neuenhaus and Winkel . In an address book from 1901, the town of Franzhäuschen (a house) was also given.

In 1885 the community had 666 inhabitants who lived in 154 houses. The inhabitants were all Catholic. The municipal area of the municipality was 707 ha of which were 422 hectares of arable land, 54 hectares of meadows and 179 hectares of forest.

On August 1, 1969, the Lohmar office, to which the municipality Inger belonged administratively, was dissolved as part of the municipal reorganization of the Bonn area ( Bonn Law ) and the municipality Inger was incorporated into the newly formed municipality Lohmar .
