Salgert is a hamlet that belongs to the town of Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia . Until 1969 the place belonged to the then independent municipality Halberg .

Salgert is located in the middle of southern Lohmar. Surrounding towns and hamlets are Kreuzhäuschen in the north, Breidt in the northeast, Geber in the west, Gebermühle in the south, Weegen and Donrath in the southwest, Halberg in the west and Ellhausen in the northwest.

Waters

A nameless orographically right tributary of the Jabach rises southwest of Salgert.
