Stolzenbach (Lohmar)

Stolzenbach is a hamlet in Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Stolzenbach is in the middle of Lohmar. Surrounding hamlets and towns are Wahlscheid , Kirchbach and Mackenbach in the north, Dorpmühle in the northeast, Jüchen , Hausdorp and Höfferhof in the east, Hausen in the southeast, Röttgen and Kreuznaaf in the south, Reelsiefen , Höngesberg and Hammerschbüchel in the southwest and, spatially a little further away, Schöpcherhof in the west.

Waters

The Stolzenbach , an orographically left tributary of the Agger , flows through Stolzenbach. The Atzenbach, an orographically left tributary of the Agger, flows north of Stolzenbach. The Agger itself flows west of Stolzenbach.

history

Until the municipal reorganization in the greater Bonn area, Stolzenbach belonged to the non-official municipality of Wahlscheid.

Stolzenbach is surrounded by forest from north to south-east. The path towards Jüchen in the east is surrounded by large meadows where deer are kept. The meadows and forest areas to the north-northeast slope steeply to the creek bed of the Atzenbach, which comes from Dorpmühle from the northeast. Separated by the B 484, in the southwest of Stolzenbach, in Peisel, there are camping sites on the Agger.
