Mayor's office Lohmar

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The mayor's office in Lohmar was initially one of nine Prussian mayor's offices into which the Siegburg district, formed in 1816 in the administrative district of Cologne, was administratively divided. In 1822 the mayor's office of Lohmar joined the then newly formed Rhine Province . The administration of the mayor's office was responsible for the six municipalities of Lohmar, Altenrath, Breidt, Halberg, Inger and Scheiderhöhe.

After the First World War , the mayor's office was occupied by Allied soldiers. These remained until January 29, 1926.

On the basis of the Prussian " Law on the Regulation of Various Points of Municipal Constitutional Law " of December 27, 1927, all of the rural mayor offices of the Rhine Province were renamed "Office". The Lohmar office existed until 1969.

The Lohmar office was dissolved on August 1, 1969 due to the Bonn Act , and the new Lohmar community was formed from the communities of Breidt, Halberg, Inger, Lohmar and Scheiderhöhe and the community of Wahlscheid . The municipality of Altenrath was incorporated into the city of Troisdorf .
