Mayor's Office Honnef

The mayor's office Honnef was a Prussian administrative district in the Siegkreis , which was in the administrative district of Cologne in the Rhine province . The mayor's office came into being in 1862 when Honnef was elevated to the state of the Rhenish city code and was separated from the Königswinter mayor's office . It existed until 1927, when all of the rural mayor's offices in the Rhine Province were converted. As a result, Honnef was a city without an office, in 1960 the name was changed to Bad Honnef .

Only the town of Honnef with the associated residential areas Grafenwerth , Hagerhof , Löwenburgerhof , Lohfelderfähre , Menzenberg , Rhöndorf , Servatiushof , Steinsbüscherhof and Zickelburg belonged to the mayorry of Honnef .

The mayor's office had 2,914 hectares , of which 585 were arable land, 182 meadows and 1,830 hectares of forest.

Residents

The mayor's office in Honnef had ten residential spaces with 838 residential buildings (including uninhabited ones). At that time there were 966 households including institutions. Of the 4,511 inhabitants, 2,117 were women and 2,124 men.

Honnef was an independent parish for the Catholic religion with 4,191 believers and the Protestant religion with 283 believers. There were also eight Christians from other religious communities, 58 Jews and one believer from another religion.
