The mayor's office in Ruppichteroth was one of eight Prussian mayor's offices into which the Uckerath district, formed in 1816 in the Cologne administrative district, was administratively divided. In 1820 the mayor's office of Ruppichteroth came to the district of Siegburg and in 1822 to the then newly formed Rhine province . The municipalities of Ruppichteroth and Winterscheid were under the administration of the mayor's office .

In 1927 the mayor's office in Ruppichteroth was renamed to Amt Ruppichteroth . In 1969 the Ruppichteroth office was dissolved.

The administrative area of ​​the mayor's office Ruppichteroth was part of the Blankenberg office in the Duchy of Berg until the beginning of the 19th century . In 1808, the French administration under Napoléon Bonaparte formed the Mairie Ruppichteroth from the parishes of Ruppichteroth and Winterscheid. The Mairie belonged to the canton Eitorf , Arrondissement Siegen , Département Sieg in the Grand Duchy of Berg .

Based on the resolutions at the Congress of Vienna in 1815, the Rhineland was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia . Under the Prussian administration, administrative districts , districts and mayor's offices as well as associated communities were formed in 1816 . The mayor Ruppichteroth initially belonged to the circle Uckerath in the administrative district of Cologne . In 1820 the Uckerath district was dissolved and added to the Siegburg district (from 1825 Siegkreis). The administrative area of ​​the mayor's office initially belonged to the province of Jülich-Kleve-Berg , which in 1822 was combined with the province of the Grand Duchy of Lower Rhine to form the Rhine province .

Like all the mayor's offices in the Rhine Province, the mayor's office in Ruppichteroth was renamed "Amt Ruppichteroth" in 1927. As part of the municipal reorganization of the Bonn area, the Ruppichteroth office and the two municipalities belonging to the office , Ruppichteroth and Winterscheid, were dissolved on August 1, 1969 and merged to form a new municipality under the name "Ruppichteroth" in the Rhein-Sieg district .

According to the "Topographical-Statistical Description of the Royal Prussian Rhine Province" from 1830, the Mayorry of Ruppichteroth, then still written as "Ruppichterodt", included four villages, 39 hamlets , 34 individual farms and nine mills. Seven churches and chapels were available to the population, and there were also 698 houses. In 1816 a total of 3,782 inhabitants were counted in the two communities, in 1828 there were 4,023 inhabitants including 1,962 men and 2,041 women; 3,215 inhabitants belonged to the Catholic, 802 to the Protestant and six to the Jewish faith.

Further details are taken from the "Community encyclopedia for the Kingdom of Prussia" from 1888, which is based on the results of the census of December 1, 1885. A total of 4,292 people lived in 1,009 houses in the administrative area of ​​the mayor's office in Ruppichteroth; 2,112 of the residents were male and 2,180 female. Regarding religious affiliation, 3,437 were Catholic and 829 were Protestant; There was also a Jewish community in Ruppichteroth with 26 members.

In 1885 the total area of ​​the two municipalities belonging to the mayor's office was 6,201 hectares , of which 2,130 hectares were arable land, 471 hectares were meadows and 2,859 hectares were forest.
