Ruppichteroth (old community)
The former municipality of Ruppichteroth and the municipality of Winterscheid formed the mayor's office of Ruppichteroth . It had 3895 hectares , of which 1395 hectares were arable, 318 hectares were meadows and 1600 hectares were forest.
In 1885 the community had 53 places with 703 residential buildings (including uninhabited) and 649 households.

Residents
The municipality of Ruppichteroth had 3016 inhabitants in 1885 (1482 men and 1534 women). There were 2,163 Catholics, 827 Protestants and 26 Jewish residents in the community.
