Mayor's office Uckerath
The mayor's office Uckerath was one of eight Prussian mayor's offices into which the district of Uckerath, formed in 1816 in the administrative district of Cologne, was administratively divided. The administrative district of the mayor's office Uckerath comprised, unlike the other mayor's offices in the district, only one municipality . In 1927 the mayor's office in Uckerath was renamed to Amt Uckerath . The office was later dissolved and Uckerath became an office-free municipality and remained so until August 1, 1969. The municipality of Uckerath was merged with the municipalities of Hennef (Sieg) and Lauthausen to form the new office-free municipality "Hennef (Sieg)".
