Addi Münster (musician)

Addi Münster (born August 26, 1935 in Carlshagen ), actually Jost Münster , is a German jazz trombonist , football official and tax advisor .

Life

In 1957, Münster was one of the founders of the Old Merry Tale Jazz Band , which he directed from 1958. Between 1960 and 1962 he was a full-time musician with this band. He played in the band at that time, led it, recorded records with it and had the summer hit of 1961. Since 1985 he has been the namesake and musician of the successor band Addi Munster's Old Merrytale Jazzband , with which he can be heard on seven CDs. In 1975 he was also involved in a record with the Hamburg All-Stars, which they recorded as the album Live Im Onkel Pö ( Polydor ).

In addition, Münster was on the supervisory board of FC St. Pauli for several years, in some cases even chairman of the supervisory board, so that the Hamburger Morgenpost also mentions the 70th birthday of Münster. Münster is a full-time tax advisor in his own law firm.

Münster is not to be confused with the Hamburg actor and humorist Albert “Addi” Münster (1902–1990).
