Adel Fakeih

Adel Fakeih (* 1959 in Mecca ) is a Saudi Arabian politician .

Life

Fakeih studied at King Abdulaziz University . From March 2005 to August 2010, Fakeih was mayor of Jeddah . He was succeeded as mayor by Hani Abu Ras . From August 18, 2010 to April 29, 2015, Fakeih was Labor Minister of Saudi Arabia, succeeding Ghazi al-Gosaibi . He was succeeded in office as labor minister by Mufrej bin Saad Al Haqbani . From April 21, 2014 to December 8, 2014, he was also briefly the successor to Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah Minister of Health of Saudi Arabia. Fakeih succeeded Mohammed bin Ali bin Hiazaa Al Hiazaa as Minister of Health .

From April 29, 2015 to November 4, 2017, Fakeih was the successor to Muhammed Al-Jasser as Minister of Economic Affairs of Saudi Arabia under Koing Salman ibn Abd al-Aziz . After King Salman founded an anti-corruption commission under the leadership of his son, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman , it arrested eleven princes, four ministers, many ex-ministers and business people, including Adel Fakeih, billionaire al- Walid ibn Talal and the Minister for the National Guard , Prince Mutaib bin Abdullah . Fakeih succeeded Muhammed Al Tuwaijri as Minister of Economic Affairs . Fakeih is with Maha Fitaihi and has five children with me.
