Adeodatus II.
Adeodatus II (also Deusdedit II , * in Rome ; † June 17, 676 ) was elected Pope on April 11, 672 .
Before he became Pope, he was a monk in the Erasmus Monastery in Rome. Adeodatus II did not interfere much in secular politics and fought against monotheleticism . He impressed with his kindness and generosity.
Catholic feast day is June 17th, the day of his death. His grave is in St. Peter's Basilica .
