Adil Kaya (* 20th July 1967 in Sivas , Turkey ) is the CEO of SIGOS GmbH, President of the Film Festival Turkey Germany in Nuremberg, Chairman of the Inter Forum - Arts & Culture Nuremberg International eV and film producer and distributor of cinema films.

Career

After studying electrical engineering in Cologne , Adil Kaya has been working for SIGOS, headquartered in Nuremberg , since March 1990 . He has been managing director of SIGOS Holding since 2008. The international company offers test systems worldwide for all telecommunications network operators, government agencies, banks and automobile manufacturers. Further SIGOS branches are located in Silicon Valley ( San Mateo , USA ), Gent ( Belgium ) and Singapore .

In 2010 Adil Kaya received the Citizens Medal of the City of Nuremberg , which has been awarded since 1960 to Nuremberg citizens who have made special contributions to the City of Nuremberg.

In 1992 he founded the Turkey Germany Film Festival in Nuremberg with close friends , and has been president of the internationally renowned festival since it was founded. On March 20, 2020, the film festival will open for the 25th time.

Adil Kaya is the producer of the art house film Tales of Defiance (2004) (Original: İnat Hikayeleri ) with Tuncel Kurtiz in the lead role. Directed by Reis Çelik.
