Administration system

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An administration system is application software that is used to manage and process mass data . The aim is the efficient completion of routine tasks, e.g. B. in financial accounting, inventory management and payroll accounting.

Classification in the systematics of the application systems

Administration systems, together with disposition systems, belong to the business information category of operational systems and serve to rationalize and make IT-supported processes more efficient. They also conserve (scarce) resources in an organizational environment.

Automation objective

They are used to automate defined and recurring work processes in which there is no scope for decision-making. This is to relieve the employees of routine tasks. Data related to the past or the present are processed. Forecasts for the future are therefore not the task of administration systems.
