Admiralty ( Chinese  金鐘  /  金钟 , Pinyin Jīnzhōng , Jyutping Gam 1 zung 1 ) is the eastern part of the Central and Western District of Hong Kong and one of the city's shopping and fashion centers.

The district borders Central to the west, Wan Chai to the east and Victoria Harbor to the north .

In the field, the built to 1874 barracks was Victoria Barracks ( 域多利兵房 , Yùduōlì Bīngfáng , Jyutping Wik 6 do 1 lei 6 Bingfong 4 ) which, together with the barracks Murray Barracks ( 美利兵房 , MEILI Bīngfáng , Jyutping Mei 5 lei 6 Bingfong 4 ) and Wellington Barracks ( 威靈頓 兵 房  /  威灵顿 兵 房 , Wēilíngdùn Bīngfáng , Jyutping Wai 1 ling 4 deon 6 Bingfong 4 ) formed the former British military zone in Central.
After this area was returned to the Hong Kong Government by the British Armed Forces and the latter decided in 1979 to use it for other purposes, the Hong Kong Park, which opened in 1991, is now located on this area .
