Adolf Juckenack Medal
The Adolf Juckenack Medal is awarded by the Food Chemistry Society (LGCh), the association of food chemists in the Society of German Chemists (GDCh).
The prize was launched in 1981 in memory of Adolf Juckenack (1870–1939) by the then specialist group for food chemistry and forensic chemistry . Prize winners are personalities who have supported the work of the Food Chemical Society through years of personal commitment in important positions or who have promoted the profession of food chemist through their work .
Award winners
The prize was awarded irregularly from 1982 onwards. On December 3, 2016, the board of the (LChG) decided that the prize should be awarded every two years.
