Adolf Armbruster (farmer)

Adolf Armbruster (born January 14, 1890 in Wilferdingen , † December 23, 1972 in Radolfzell ) was a German farmer.

Career

Armbruster came as the son of the farmer and innkeeper Ludwig Philipp Armbruster and his wife Karoline Katharina, geb. Holzmüller, to the world. In 1909 he passed the Abitur at the secondary school in Pforzheim and then studied at the Hohenheim Agricultural University , which he left in 1912 with a degree in agriculture. After his military service as a one-year volunteer in Durlach, he taught as an agriculture teacher at the agricultural district winter school in Meßkirch and completed an internship at the Royal Domain Schaichhof . During the First World War he was employed in the military administration in provision offices and general offices.

After the end of the war, from 1918 onwards, he was the association secretary of the cooperative association of Baden agricultural associations in Karlsruhe. In 1924 he took over the management of the Stockach district headquarters of the Baden agricultural cooperative. In 1928 he became director of the Radolfzell dairy factory , which under his leadership became a leading company in the regional dairy industry. On May 1, 1937, Adolf Armbruster joined the NSDAP and remained a party member until 1945. In 1950 he was denazified as a fellow traveler without atonement in the court proceedings . In 1962 he retired.
