Adolf Fetsch
Adolf Fetsch (born November 5, 1940 in Voznesensk , Ukrainian SSR ) is a CSU politician, a Russian-German integration activist and honorary chairman and former national chairman of the country team of Germans from Russia .
Fetsch came to Germany in 1944 as a four-year-old refugee. For many years he was chairman of the CSU local association Munich-Nord-Am Hart. Early on, Fetsch shifted the focus of his political activities to the area of displaced persons and resettlers . Since 1994 he has been vice-president of the Association of Expellees and has been a member of the state board of the Union of Expellees for some time . For more than 30 years, Adolf Fetsch was chairman of the Bavarian regional group of the Landsmannschaft der Deutschen von Russia. He was a member of the federal executive committee from 1978 to 2013, of which he was federal chairman from 2003 to 2013. At the Federal Delegate Assembly on April 27 and 28, 2013 in Stuttgart, Fetsch was appointed honorary chairman.
