Adolf Graf von Spreti

Adolf Eugen Graf von Spreti SVD (born February 17, 1907 in Munich , † February 3, 1994 in Kösching ) was a German religious.

Adolf Graf von Spreti was the first of five children from the marriage of Paul Graf von Spreti (1872–1956) and Katharina Schwankl (1882–1963). He joined the religious order of the Steyler Missionaries , made his first vows in 1927 and his perpetual vows in 1930 . In 1931 he was ordained a priest and became dr. theol. PhD.

Von Spreti was provincial superior of the north German order province. Adolf Graf von Spreti was general secretary of the Society of the Divine Word (Steyler Missionaries) , the second largest missionary order of the Catholic Church, based in Rome .
