Gustav Strohm (Ministerial Director)

Gustav Strohm (born March 26, 1882 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † February 14, 1956 there ) was a German ministerial official.

Career

Strohm studied political science at the University of Freiburg from 1902 to 1906 . In 1906 he joined the financial administration of Baden and held various positions in Freiburg, Lahr and Karlsruhe . In 1909 he moved to the Catholic Board of Trustees in Karlsruhe. In 1927 he was transferred to the Baden Ministry of Finance. There he was promoted to Ministerial Council in 1931. After the end of the war, in 1945 he was initially head of the Freiburg branch of the Ministry of Finance, and after the authority was moved from Karlsruhe to Freiburg, he was head of the central and finance department from 1945 to 1947. In 1947 he switched to the Baden Ministry of Economics and Labor as a ministerial director. In 1952 he retired.
