Adolf Könsen

Adolf Könsen (born February 2, 1916 in Bremen - Mahndorf ; † 2000 in Bremen) was a German local office manager and politician ( SPD ) in Bremen. He was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

Könsen initially worked as an employee in Bremen. In 1960 he was the head of the full-time local office of Horn-Lehe selected. On February 28, 1979, he retired. During his time as local office manager, the district was shaped by measures such as the construction of many terraced houses, the Horner Bad as well as various schools and social facilities.

politics

Könsen was a member of the local SPD association Neue Vahr in Bremen and in 1961 chairman of the local SPD association Neue Vahr Nord .

He was a member of the Bremen citizenship from 1955 to 1967 and worked in various deputations and committees of the citizenship. Since he wanted to remain head of the local office, he could not be re-elected as a member of the citizenship from 1967 due to the then applicable regulation of the incompatibility of office and citizenship mandate.
