Isaac William Hempstead-Wright (born April 9, 1999 in Kent , England ) is a British actor .

Life

Hempstead-Wright currently lives with his family in Faversham , Kent . He took acting classes at the Kent Youth Theater in Canterbury , England.

Career

Isaac Hempstead-Wright began acting in commercials and starred in the role of Bran Stark on the HBO fantasy television series Game of Thrones from 2011 to 2019 . Also in 2011 he had a supporting role in the British horror film The Awakening . For his performance in Game of Thrones , he was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award in the category Best Acting Ensemble in a TV Series - Drama in 2012 and 2014 together with the ensemble of the series .
