Adolf Kutschker (born March 6, 1929 in Freudenthal ; † April 28, 2009 in Mannheim ) was a German poet and writer .

Life

Kutschker completed an apprenticeship as a gardener in Freudenthal. After the war he got an apprenticeship as a decorator, then a job in Cologne, then he was chief decorator of a department store in Mannheim. Since 1954 he has written poetry, poetry, prose and short stories every day. Until his death he was head of the "Literary Square" in Mannheim, as well as a member, later managing director of "Räuber '77" and finally "Ehrenräuber". His literary figure and at the same time alter ego is "Lord Jeh". Using this protagonist, he dealt with the current issues of the time. His play on words subtly conceals his subjective worldview and at the same time makes clear the fragile structure of language and the difficulties of communication.
