Adolf Manz
Adolf Manz (born October 19, 1885 in Meilen , † April 23, 1949 in Zurich ) was a Swiss actor .
Life
Son of the lawyer Adolf Manz and Elise Susanna Huber. During his law studies in Zurich and Berlin , he trained as an actor. He spent his entire theater career from 1909 to 1941 in Germany.
He was seen eight times in Swiss dialect films. He played the leading role in The Last Postillon from St. Gotthard and The Shot from the Pulpit . The increased number of roles offered from Switzerland prompted him to return to Switzerland in 1941.
Adolf Manz had been married to Ellen Widmann since 1924 .
