Adolf Oertmann

Adolf Oertmann (born June 11, 1903 in Warendorf ; † July 29, 1983 ) was a German politician and member of the CDU state parliament .

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter and then worked in this profession. From 1925 he attended the technical center in Lage . In 1928 he graduated from school with an examination to become a mechanical engineer. He then worked in the Erkenschwick nitrogen works and in the technical office of the Ewald mine, which continued . Most recently he was a machine driver.

In 1945 he joined the CDU. He was active in numerous party bodies.

From July 21, 1958 to July 20, 1962, Oertmann was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituency 091 Recklinghausen-Land-Südwest. He was a member of the city council of Oer-Erkenschwick from 1945 to 1946 and the district council of the Recklinghausen district from 1956.
