Adolf Schmidt (politician, 1870)

Adolf Schmidt (* 1870 ; † 1933 ) was a German bank director and politician.

Adolf Schmidt was a bank director in Stralsund . He also worked as a Danish consul .

He was a member of the German Fatherland Party and belonged to the board of the local group of this party in Stralsund. After 1918 he became a member of the German People's Party , from April 1929 he was a member of the Stralsund Gauvorstand. In the same year he was elected to the Pomeranian Provincial Parliament; a candidacy for the Reichstag failed in September 1930.

Adolf Schmidt was councilor in Stralsund and vice president of the local chamber of commerce . As a councilor he was from September 1919 commissioner for reports on the state of public order to the President of the Province of Pomerania .
