Adolf von Asbeck

Adolf von Asbeck (* unknown; † February 2, 1637 ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and canon in Münster .

Life

Adolf von Asbeck was the son of Rotger von Asbeck zu Berge (* 1554) and his wife Ermgard von Raesfeld. With the receipt of the tonsure on March 6, 1615, Adolf was prepared for a spiritual life. Three years later, on March 9, 1618, he received the minor orders and the following day received the subdiaconate as canon at the old cathedral in Münster . On October 22nd, 1618 Adolf took possession of the cathedral priest , which the Canon von Wachtendonck had waived . He was emancipated on October 30, 1619 with the revolt to the families Asbeck, Hüchtebrock, Raesfeld and Bronckhorst-Batenburg. The Münsterische Bishop gave him the Domküsterei on 31 March 1629 as the canon Dietrich Ketteler had renounced. After the death of Arnold von Bocholtz, Adolf opted for the obedience of Senden on January 24, 1633 .
