Adolfo Antônio Fetter Júnior

Adolfo Antônio Fetter Júnior (born July 2, 1947 in Pelotas , Rio Grande do Sul ) is a Brazilian politician of the Partido Progressista (PP). He was the incumbent prefect of the city of Pelotas and a federal representative of his state.

Fetter was the first MP ( Vereador ) in his hometown in 1982 . From 1991 to 1994 he was a federal representative (Deputado federal) for his state in the Chamber of Deputies . In 1995 he took over the Development and International Affairs Department of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. In 2004 he was elected Vice-Prefect of Pelotas behind Bernardo de Souza and succeeded him in 2006 in the office of Prefect. He was re-elected in 2008, beating former Prefect Fernando Marroni (PT). He did not run for the 2012 elections, and was succeeded as City Prefect Eduardo Leite from the PSDB , who took over the office on January 1, 2013.
