Adolfo Pizzi
Adolfo Pizzi (born June 24, 1914 in Zagarolo , † after 1956 ) was an Italian documentary filmmaker and film director .
Life
Pizzi began working in film at a young age when he was developing films in the Cines branches and was later able to work as an assistant editor. During the time of the Republic of Salò, he was involved in several films in this capacity. After the Second World War, he made numerous short films as a documentarist ( Il canto dell'Elba , Primavera nell'Isonzo , La leggenda del cielo and many more) between 1946 and 1956. His only feature film, Ritrovarsi all'alba , was made in 1954 after his own Script and self-produced.
