Adriana Carmona

Adriana Carmona Gutiérrez (born December 3, 1972 in Puerto La Cruz ) is a successful Taekwondo fighter from Venezuela . She took part in a total of three Olympic Games (2000, 2004 and 2008). They won in 2004 in Athens the bronze medal in the heavyweight division, while the battle for third place against Natalia Silva Falavigna could from Brazil with 7 to 4 decide for themselves.

Further successes were second place at the Taekwondo World Championship in 1993 in New York , third place at the 1996 World Cup in Rio de Janeiro and several placements in continental competitions, including first place at the 1996 Pan American Championships in Havana .
