The Adwa (also Aabida, Amoissa, Dabita ) is a 1733 m high stratovolcano in the south of the Afar region in Ethiopia . The volcano is in the immediate vicinity of Ayelu and has a 4 × 5 km large caldera . In the center of the caldera, volcanic exhalations in the form of fumaroles can be seen today.
