Aerolitoral , called Aeroméxico Connect , is a Mexican regional airline based in Monterrey and a subsidiary of Aeroméxico .
history
The airline was founded as Servicios Aereos Litoral . On December 1, 1990, Aeroméxiko bought the airline, which then began flight operations in 1998 with a fleet of four NAMC YS-11s . As a subsidiary, the airline expanded strongly, the fleet was replaced by more modern types and also expanded between 1991 and 1995. In May 2004, the first jets arrived in the fleet with three Embraer ERJ 145s .
