The African Squash Open 2007 took place from December 3rd to 8th 2007 in the Nigerian capital Lagos . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2007/08 and belonged to Category 2 Star . The prize money was $ 20,000.
The tournament was won by Amr Swelim , who defeated Aaron Frankcomb 7:11, 11: 6, 11: 8 and 11: 7 in the final . With this he secured his second title win on the World Tour.
The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Sodiq Taiwo a spot in the main draw.
