Aganippe (daughter of Termessus)
Aganippe ( ancient Greek Ἀγανίππη ) is the naiad of the source Aganippe on the Helikon in Greek mythology . She is the daughter of the river god Permessos or Termessos .
The spring was sacred to the muses , because the enjoyment of its water promoted the genius of the poets. Like the Hippocrene , the source sprang from a kick of Pegasus .
