Agias (sculptor)

Agias ( ancient Greek Ἀγίας ) was a Greek sculptor who worked at the end of the 2nd century BC. Was active.

He was the son of the sculptor Aristomenes from Messene and father of the sculptor Pyrilampos . He is known only for his inscription on a statue base found in Olympia on which a portrait statue had stood.
