Agnes Sirkka Prammer

Agnes Sirkka Prammer (born November 17, 1977 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician from the Greens . She has been a member of the National Council since January 9, 2020 .

From 1996 to 2000, Prammer completed her degree in law at the University of Linz . She worked as a lawyer between 2006 and 2016 and became a contract employee at the provincial government in Upper Austria in 2018 .

In 2013, Prammer took over the position of deputy local spokeswoman for the Greens in Leonding . Two years later, she was elected to the municipal council of the Leondingen municipality for the first time. The Upper Austrian regional association of the Greens elected Prammer to the regional board in 2019.

After the formation of the Federal Government Kurz II, Prammer succeeded Federal Minister Leonore Gewessler as a member of the National Council on January 9, 2020 and was sworn in on the following day.
