Agustin del Castillo

Agustín del Castillo (* 1565 in Seville , † 1626 in Córdoba ) was a Spanish Baroque painter .

Del Castillo learned painting in Seville from Luis Fernández , then moved to Córdoba and mainly painted frescoes and oil paintings for church buildings in the area. Most of his pictures have not survived to this day. His brother was the painter Juan del Castillo . His son Antonio also made a name for himself as an artist.
