Ahmad al-Jabir as-Sabah (* 1885 - 29 January 1950 ; Arabic أحمد الجابر الصباح, DMG Aḥmad al-Ǧābir aṣ-Ṣabāḥ ) was Sheikh of Kuwait from March 29, 1921 to January 29, 1950 , and the tenth ruler of the Kuwaiti as-Sabah dynasty.

He was born in Kuwait in 1885 as the eldest son of Jabir II as-Sabah , the Sheikh of Kuwait from 1915 to 1917. Ahmad al-Jabir as-Sabah was elected ruler after the death of his uncle Salim al-Mubarak as-Sabah in 1921. During his reign, Kuwait's borders were set by the British colonial powers, with about a third of the area being lost to neighbors Iraq and Saudi Arabia .
