Ahmad Elrich (born May 30, 1981 in Sydney ) is a former Australian soccer player of Lebanese origin.
Career
The right midfielder began his career with Parramatta Eagles and a year later with Parramatta Power in Australia. In 2004 Elrich moved to South Korea to the Busan I'cons . After a year on the Korean peninsula, Elrich went on to Fulham FC . After he got too little match practice there in the 2005/2006 season, the Londoners awarded him to Lyn Oslo in Norway on March 27, 2006 until the end of the 2005/2006 season . After another season at Fulham, he was brought back to the Australian A-League on September 21, 2007 by Wellington Phoenix . For the 2008/2009 season he was finally signed by the Central Coast Mariners . Ahmad's brother Tarek is also active in the A-League and plays for arch-rivals Newcastle United Jets .
Elrich played 17 times for the Australian national soccer team .
