Ahmad ad-Duchi ad-Dussari ( Arabic أحمد الدوخي الدوسري, DMG Aḥmad ad-Dūḫī ad-Dūssarī , after the English transcription often Ahmad al-Dokhi al-Dossari ; Born October 25, 1976 ) is a former Saudi Arabian soccer player . He won the Saudi Arabian championship five times and took part in the 1998 , 2002 and 2006 world championships.

Career

Ahmad ad-Duchi played for many years as a right-back at the capital city club al-Hilal . He won four national championships and four cup wins with the club and he was also part of the team that won the Asian Champions' Cup in 2000 . In 2005 he moved to Al-Ittihad in Jeddah and was able to repeat this success with his new team. He even contributed a goal to the 4-2 in the decisive final game.

Although he made his first appearance in the Saudi Arabian national team on May 1, 1993 , he did not take part in his country's first and so far most successful World Cup participation in 1994 in the USA. But then he played in the most important tournaments for his country and the 2006 World Cup in Germany was his third World Cup in a row in Saudi Arabia's squad .

In 2007, he won the championship for the fifth time with al-Ittihad. A year later he moved to Qatar SC , but returned to Saudi Arabia in 2009. He played for al-Nasr for two more years before retiring in 2011.
