Ahmed Redha Houhou

Ahmed Redha Houhou ( Arabic أحمد رضا حوحو, DMG Aḥmad Riḍā Ḥūḥū ; * 1911 in Sidi Okba ; † March 29, 1956 in Algiers ) was an Algerian writer.

Houhou lived in Saudi Arabia for a long time . After his return to Algeria, he worked in the Ulama League . He later worked as General Director of the Ben Badis Institute . He worked as a teacher, school principal and newspaper editor.

He wrote short stories and translated works of European drama. In 1956 he was murdered by the terrorist organization La Main Rouge , which was directed against the independence of Algeria .
