Sirpa Lane

Sirpa Lane (* 1952 in Helsinki as Sirpa Salo , † 1999 in Formentera ) was a Finnish actress .

Act

Sirpa Lane started out as a photo model and was discovered in Sweden by David Hamilton . The blonde, green-eyed actress made her film debut in the independently produced Fluff . This was quickly followed by engagements with directors who made erotic films but also had a good reputation: Lane was active in A Wild Life for Roger Vadim and in the scandalous Das Biest for Walerian Borowczyk . Compared to Brigitte Bardot and Sylvia Kristel, however, the further career development could not withstand: Soon Lane was occupied in Italian commercial products that made no demands on her other than her physical qualities. Another controversial film was also there: the 1976 staged Naziploitation ripper La svastica nel ventre . The rapidly aging actress could now be seen in increasingly cheaper works; She had her last film appearance in 1983 in the pornography- related film Giochi carnali . She also appeared under the stage names Shirpa Lane and Syrpa Lane. In August 1982 she was on the cover of French Playboy .

Lane died of AIDS in Formentera .
