Ahmet Derviş

Ahmet Derviş ( Derviş Pascha ; * 1881 in Selânik ; † January 7, 1932 ) was an Ottoman and Turkish military.

In 1906 he graduated from the war school. In 1920 he went to Anatolia and took part in the Turkish Liberation War . In 1930 he became co- general . Derviş was appointed commander of the 1st Corps and State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense. He died on January 7, 1932 while still in office. In 1988 his remains were transferred to the Ankara State Cemetery.
