Ahmet Genç (born March 10, 1964 in Çarşamba ) is a former Turkish football player and current coach.

Athletic career

Genç began his career with Galatasaray Istanbul in the early 1980s . The striker played his first and only season in 1981/82. He came to ten first division games and was the Turkish cup winner at the end of the season.

From 1984 to 1986 the striker played for the second division Galata SK . In 1990 Genç tried a second time in the first division and went to Gaziantepspor . For Gaziantepspor he was not used for the entire season and therefore moved to İskenderunspor in the summer of 1991 . With İskenderunspor Genç became third division champions in 1992 and rose to the second division.

Ahmet Genç ended his career in 1995 with İstanbul Özel İdare İhtisasspor.

Coaching career

Ahmet Genç was a youth coach at Galatasaray Istanbul from 1996 to 2002. In 2003 he was in charge of the İstanbulspor youth team . Most recently, the former striker Beylikgücüspor trained .
