Ahmet Topal (born January 21, 1993 in Malatya ) is a Turkish football player who currently plays for TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor . He is the younger brother of the Turkish national player Mehmet Topal .
Career
Topal began club football in the youth of Malatya Belediyespor and moved to the youth of Istanbul's top club Galatasaray in 2010 . The decisive factor for this change was the fact that Topal's older brother Mehmet Topal was working for the professional Galatasaray team at the time.
Ahmet Topal stayed with Galatasaray until spring 2012 and then moved to the fourth division Afyonkarahisarspor with a professional contract . At his new club, he made the leap into the starting eleven straight away. Through his achievements, several clubs of the higher Turkish leagues became aware of him. So Topal moved to the second division TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor in summer 2012 .
