The Ahornfelsen (popularly known as the Ahornfelsen ) is an approximately 10 meter high, partially overhanging group of granite rocks made of tin granite in the community-free area of Neubauer Forst-Süd in the Hohes Fichtelgebirge natural area (Bavaria). It is located on the south-west slope of the lake hill at an altitude of 910  m above sea level. NN in the Schneeberg massif . You can reach it on the Blue Cross hiking trail (Seehaussteig) from Fichtelsee (municipality of Fichtelberg ) to the Seehaus, the accommodation facility of the Fichtelgebirgsverein (municipality of Tröstau ).
