Ahrenshagen is a district of the municipality of Ahrenshagen-Daskow in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen .

history

Ahrenshagen was first mentioned in a document in 1323. It was created in the course of the German colonization in the east .

On January 1, 2001, the formerly independent municipalities of Ahrenshagen and Daskow merged to form the new municipality of Ahrenshagen-Daskow.
