Tribohm is a district of the municipality of Ahrenshagen-Daskow in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen . The place is on the old road from Damgarten to Tribsees , about three kilometers south of the road from Damgarten to Franzburg .

history

Tribohm was first mentioned in 1268 when Eckard von Dechow bequeathed land to Neuenkamp Monastery . The Slavic place name can be derived from a personal name.

The village church was built around 1250, the tower probably in 1421. In 1272 the monastery took over the patronage of the church and in 1456 the University of Greifswald .

The manor house dates from 1846.
