UAB Aibės mažmena operates a retail cooperative in Lithuania under the name Aibė . In 2016, Aibė owned 751 stores and 168 trading companies . The Latvian branch operates under the name Aibe and comprises over 450 shops and cafes (1200 shops in Lithuania and Latvia). That is numerically more than the chains of the big competitors Maxima LT , Rimi Lietuva , Norfa and IKI - however, these are mostly smaller stores. The market share in Lithuania was 8.3%. In 2006 the turnover of the Lithuanian section was 636 million Litas (184.35 million euros) and the Latvian section 466.1 million Litas , the group turnover in 2006 exceeded the billion mark (1.103 billion Litas) for the first time.

In May 1999, the Aibė chain began its activity. In 2002 the concept was adopted for Latvia together with Latvian partners. In 2003, the Lithuanian Aibė section merged with the CBA cooperative and the name was changed to CBA Aibė .
Lithuanian Aibė and Latvian Trade Cooperative Aibe merged in 2012 to form the Baltic Trade Alliance and have 900 stores.
Aljansas Aibė (former Anakin Invest , founded in 2009), founded by Ignas Staškevičius , bought Aibė in 2011 for Lt 32 million (EUR 10 million). Eva grupė group affiliated with Vilniaus prekyba sold 100% of the shares of Aibės mažmena in 2011 and earned a profit of Lt 2,542 million. Aibės mažmenz controlled 55.73% of the shares in Aibės logistika .
