Aida Tsunao
Aida Tsunao ( Japanese 会 田 綱 雄 ; born March 17, 1914 in Tokyo Prefecture ; † February 22, 1990 ) was a Japanese poet.
Aida came to Nanking in 1940 as a military intelligence volunteer and then worked for a publishing house in Shanghai. Here he met young poets like Shimpei Kusano , who became known after the war. In 1945 he returned to Japan. In 1957 he published the volume of poetry Kanko , for which he received the Takamura Kōtarō Prize . In 1977 he was awarded the Yomiuri Literature Prize for the collection of poems Yuigon .
