Aigars Fadejevs

Aigars Fadejevs (born December 27, 1975 in Valka ) is a Latvian walker .

Fadejevs achieved sixth place over 20 kilometers in his first Olympic participation in Atlanta in 1996 . He won his first international medal at the European Athletics Championships in Budapest in 1998, when he won the silver medal behind the Russian Ilya Markov over 20 km. Two years later he also achieved the silver medal over 50 kilometers at the Olympic Games in Sydney behind the Pole Robert Korzeniowski . Fadejevs also started at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , but only finished 11th in the 50-kilometer competition.
